Mole Hell

The 4 Stages Of Producing Absolutely Nothing

Moles are not completely blind. We are almost blind, but not “completely blind”. So yeah, we’re not quite good at bein’ blind and we’re certainly not good at seein’ things clearly. When there’s a task to be done, we like to dig ourselves a nice big hole and hide away from our responsibilities. This is stage 1 of producing absolutely nothing. Some say that we enjoy wallowin’ in our own dirt, but are afraid to admit it. There may just be some truth in that. Either way, if you can’t dig up: you gotta dig down! When the pressure starts to get a little bit too much, you dig a little further. This is stage 2 of producing absolutely nothing.

Eventually, you’re in so deep that you can’t find the way back to your little hideaway. You lose control – the earth swallows you up. This is stage 3 of  producing absolutely nothing. Stage 4 quickly follows and believe me, you’ll know when you get there. It is the moment when you realise that you’ve dug yourself into mole hell.

So what is mole hell? Well, it greatly resembles the feeling of being buried alive. It is the end result of digging your own grave. But if you stop and think about it for a moment: this isn’t health hell, or financial hell or lovesick hell. Just a plain and simple mole hell. It means absolutely nothing. If you can’t fill these kind of holes, you’re never gonna make it. So yeah, sometimes you gotta mole-up and do something with your dirt – and this is coming from the moliest of moles.
